Trends I'm Loving Right Now...

I have to confess I follow trends. I start out hating new trends, like floral skinny jeans for example. Then I see someone wearing a trend in a really cute way and all of the sudden I love it. This year is no different. My latest trend obsession is harem pants. Now admittedly I didn't have a hate for harem pants when they first became a trend. A girl at work wears them all the time. I thought they were cute but not for me. On a recent online shopping spree at Old Navy I needed to spend about twenty more dollars to get the free shipping so I clicked on some gray harem pants and thought "why not?" The rest is history. I LOVE them. I'm wearing them right now as a matter of fact. What I love is that you can dress them up or down. They're perfect to lounge in, run errands in, sit around in, go out to lunch in. Or if you want add heels and a nice blouse and you can wear them to work or out. I love them so much I ordered two more pairs at Forever21 and plan on these being my go to casual outfits for summer. Favorite Looks of the Week

Happy Hump Day everyone.  Its almost the weekend and as usual time is just getting away from me.  School and work are crazy not to mention home.  I can't believe its mid October already.  Time just flies.  Fall is my absolute favorite time of year.  I love the crisp cool mornings, the beautiful leaves and of course the clothes.  I love fall fashion.  Sweaters, boots, leggings.  So today I picked out a few of my favorite street style looks for fall that have been popping up on my tumblr blog.  I hope you enjoy!

Style Icon of the Week

This weeks style icon is Grace Kelly.  Grace had a quiet elegance that shone through on and offscreen.  She was the picture perfect princess.  Whether she was wearing a gown and tiara or jeans and blouse she always appeared understated and never overdressed.  Grace was the epitome of 50s fashion known for her ladylike style of pearls, gloves and feminine dresses that are timeless.  Grace exuded class and charm and looked regal dressed up or down.  Its no wonder she became a rel life princess!  Grace's style lives on today with her signature Hermes bag and ladylike coats.

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope everyone is enjoying the day.  Every Saturday I'll be posting a style icon of the week.  My first style icon is Audrey Hepburn..

Audrey was known for her elegance on and off screen.  Her character's fashion was often based on her own personal style.  Audrey exuded class and elegance, and influenced a generation.  Her style lives on today, with the little black dress, over-sized sunglasses, capris, ballet flats and simple dresses.  Audrey had her own sense of style and made simple casual look effortless, chic and elegant.
