What Does Your Favorite Color Say About You?

I have a confession to make.  I love pink.  You could say I have a pink obsession.  When I go shopping, which is often I am always attracted to pink things.  Tops, dresses, shoes, bags, everything.  I love pink flowers, and yes I have pink sheets.  I love all shades, light pink, baby pink, hot pink, fuschia, magneta.  I love pink.  My best friend loves purple the same way I love pink.  So I started thinking about what our favorite colors say about us.  Here's what I found...

Red:  Red is the color of strength, health, and vitality, Red is often the color chosen by someone outgoing, aggressive, vigorous and impulsive.  "Red People" can also be action oriented with a deep need for physical fulfillment.  They can also be abrupt and quick to judge.  Red is usually chosen by people with open and uncomplicated natures, with a zest for life.

Orange:  "Orange people" are usually fun loving and flamboyant.  They love socializing and have a need to be accepted as part of a group.  They can be a little dramatic, and are usually popular.  Orange is the color of youth, strength, fearlessness, curiosity and restlessness.

Yellow:  Yellow is the color of happiness, wisdom and imagination.  People who choose yellow are usually logical and precise.  They have a need for order.  "Yellow people" have a sunny but shrewd personality.  They have a good mind for business and creating new ideas.

Blue:  "Blue people" have a deep need for inner peace.  Soft, soothing, compassionate and caring, Blue is the color of deliberation and introspection, conservatism and duty.  They seek truth and prefer to live their life according to their ideals and beliefs without having to change their inflexible viewpoint of life to satisfy others.

Green:  Green is the olor of harmony and balance.  "Green people" have a deep need to love and be loved.  They want to belong and feel safe and secure.  They are fairly sociable, but prefer peace above all.  "Green people" can be too self-effacing, modest and patient, so they may get exploited by others

White:  White is symbolic of purity and innocence.  People who choose white have a deep need for simplicity in their lives.  They desire independence and are self reliant.  They do not like to depend on other people.

Black:  People who choose black usually have a need for power and try to protect and hide their emotional insecurities.  People who choose black are very classy, elegant and stylish.  They have strong outer personalities, but inside they can be fearful and somewhat angry.

Turquoise:  "Turquoise people" are complex, imaginative and original.  Their deepest need is to create emotional balance in your life, to be able to express your hopes and dreams no matter how idealistic they may be.  "Turquoise people" drive themselves hard and may be in a state of turmoil under their outwardly cool exterior.

Purple:  People who choose purple have deep respect for others, but can come off as arrogant.  They have a deep need for emotional security, and a desire for perfection and order in all aspects of their life.  Highly temperamental, a "Purple person" can become sarcastic and aloof if you somehow offend them.

Pink:  Pink embodies the gentler qualities of red.  It symbolizes love and affection, and "Pink women" tend to be maternal.  They have a deep need to be accepted and loved unconditionally.  "Pink people" tend to be charming and gentle.
